CRIMEA FEDERAL MEDICAL UNIVERSITY
Since 1999 English has been the second language of instruction, which makes Medical Academy attractive for foreign citizens coming here to study. For the constant development of cooperation with foreign countries and high quality of education, the University was awarded the title of laureate in the rating of Ukrainian higher schools “Sofia Kievskaya – 2004”.
For over 90 years the Academy has been training professional specialists. Academic excellence has been highly appreciated by the International Education Society, which has conferred the Academy AA rank denoting TOP INSTITUTION THAT IS INTERNATIONALLY KNOWN AND RECOGNIZED.

Students Life
Crimea Federal University offers all the possibilities for students and lectures to realize their ambitions. The International Center was created by the University as part of its commitment to the internationalization of its activities and programs. A complete facility is provided for the support of foreign students. There is annual function held within the University. Students perform in folk dance group called “Youth” which includes a pop dance group, a show-ballet, an amateur theater, and a break dance group.
- The Hostels of Crimea Federal University are there within the University. The rooms are available on 3-5 sharing depending upon the size of the room. On each floor, there are two kitchens where students can cook for themselves. Also, the continental food (Indian, Malaysian, Chinese, and Arabic cuisine) is available in the canteen.
About Simferopol
Simferopol (/ˌsɪmfəˈroʊpəl/) is the second-largest city on the Crimean Peninsula, and the capital of the (Autonomous) Republic of Crimea. Simferopol is an important political, economic and transport hub of the peninsula, and serves as the administrative centre of both Simferopol Municipality and the surrounding Simferopol District. Founded on the site of a Crimean Tatar town Aqmescit, the city adopted its current name after the annexation of the Crimean Khanate to the Russian Empire. The population was 332,317 (2014 Census)
