Nantong Medical University

Nantong Medical University was founded by Zhang Jian in 1912, and its predecessor was a private medical school in Nantong. It is one of the earliest medical schools in China. In 1927, it was transformed into Nantong Medical College, and in 1928 it was renamed into Nantong University Medical College formed by the merger of the three agricultural, textile, and medical schools. Nantong University is one of the universities that offer MBBS program approved by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China.
